Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the Marriott Downtown Convention Center was overall pleasant. The rooms were updated and clean, though my room wasn't ready until 4:30 PM which was a bit inconvenient. The service throughout my stay was exceptional, with the staff being friendly and helpful at every interaction. The location was convenient for accessing major freeways, but the presence of cockroaches in the patio/pool area was a downside. The dining experience was great, especially the morning buffet, despite some items not being included as part of breakfast. The facilities were adequate for my needs.
The hotel needs some serious updates and isn't as accessible as it seems, but the service was genuinely helpful and nice. The location is convenient despite some unwanted guests, and the dining experience was a mix of good and bad.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious with a great bathroom and comfortable bed, but they were sometimes noisy due to the adjacent Salon. The view overlooking the pool area and patio was nice, except for a bad smell in the rooms. The service was a bit of a letdown with rude interactions and unexpected charges, but the staff members were friendly and accommodating. The location was convenient for accessing major freeways and highways, although the downtown area felt deserted after business hours. Dining options were a mixed bag, with some overpriced items but also some great choices. Overall, the facilities were decent despite a few drawbacks.
